Sunday visit

Will be visiting Danny after church this morning, I will hitch a ride with his mom (Christina). So I had to run back down to the shop this morning and get his big blanket hemmed. I have enough time to go ahead and hem a few of the smaller coverlets also. I look forward to bringing in a new update for Danny, as well as new photos. Johnny called this morning, the ship is just past Port Elizabeth . I think they are making good time. Look forward to him getting back here though.

Learning to card wool!

Two neighborhood children ( Jacob & Amber) have found spinning, They had their first lesson in carding and drop spinning. They love it. They will be dyeing their yarn next with kool-aid.

embroidering today

I hauled both machines out and am busy making preemie baby blankets. Tiny little things. When they outgrow them as a blanket mom can use them for a burp cloth. Of course Danny is getting a blanket as well as a big version. I have his big one embroidered but hemmed yet, his little one is finished. Now that I have 2 machines going I should be able to get going good today. Plus the regular stuff to do in the shop. I don't have my little associate here today so must do on my own. Will post photos when I am done.

preemie blankets

I have been busy crocheting a bright pink preemie baby blanket for the hospital where our little Danny still resides. I didn't have any blue so this blanket will be for a girl in his honor. Maybe I will ahve enough to crochet a hat to match. Will post a picture when I finish it. What are you guys all up to today? Soon will get back to embroidering towels, and t-shirts.
